About the Arist
With more than 30 years experience, Larry Bridges realistically captures and accurately preserves nostalgic subjects, landmarks, and period settings. He offers lithographic prints of pen and ink drawings, as well as the originals. They are available in black and white or hand watercolored, and framed. Also, he executes pen and ink drawings and watercoloring on a commission basis.
As a former member of the Texas Wild Bunch Professional Artists Association, an elite group of Texas full-time professional artists, his art has been displayed at invitation-only shows, galleries, museums, and fine art festivals. Larry has been showing as a full-time artist since 1985 and has received First Place and Best of Show awards.
Larry attended Texas Tech University where he studied Advertising Art & Design. He is well-versed in fashion and commercial advertising, as evidenced during employment with the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal as an Advertising Account Executive. Also, as the owner/operator of an advertising agency, he conceptualized, designed, and produced ads for leading retail accounts.
